Ok there is no evidence that Christ was married. And I personally dont believe He did get married. But what if He did? It was within the law wasnt it. What sin was committed? Yes, He was tempted in all things and did not sin. If you see His human side being married as a sin then marriage isnt everything people make it out to be is it? The sin is outside of marriage isnt it? Religion is a pain in the butt in my opinion. Thu, Apr. 13th, 2006, 02:29 am
Sorry this is about my favorite religion LOL.
A quote I found on the net.
"April 2, 2006 The recent news about a study "proving" that prayer does not have a positive healing results is quite interesting. The two "groups" of people praying were Group #1 and Group #2 (per scrappleface.com). For those who are Christian and know that prayer does indeed often have positive healing effects the key to understanding these study results is to ask "Who was praying?" James 5:16"
Group number 1 and 2 are two different religious factions. The James 5:16 verse basically says the prayers of a righteous man are heard.
Ok number 1 if they would read their Bible better it also says all have fallen short of the glory of God. And also it says ask and you shall receive. Christians seem to forget they are human and still fallen even though they are saved by the blood of Christ. They still get angry, still can be vindictive, and hurtful. They still lie and cheat if they allow themselves to be persuaded by their negative desires. In otherwords they still sin. Now they have an out which is Christ. A Way out from being obliterated by God the Fathers wrath. And this quote is saying that groups 1 and 2 doesnt ask for forgiveness to get themselves clean? From what I understand in the Old Testament people would wash themselves at certain spots while entering the temple to worship. From their Bible Christ has now become the Way to wash yourself before you enter and request from God.
Christains have a taste for judging others without thinking. Concerning the situation the Bible also says do not test the Lord your God. I personally believe in prayer. Whether God is behind the miracles I have seen I dont know. But if I knew that verse about testing God and saw the outcome of that "experiment" I would just consider the source and move on.
And besides the "experiment" isnt scientific. Its not like testing how antibiotic X effects a certain Strepticoccus.
P.S. yeah I think Im going to make a separate blog about my religion rantings. And as being a Buddhist I have some rantings there to. Especially about Karma. Wed, Mar. 29th, 2006, 01:02 am
Removing my mind from the political and the religious I have started training myself in 3D design. Its not to bad. But then some things are a challenge to learn. Which in my opinion makes life fun. Mon, Mar. 27th, 2006, 08:16 am
Ok, this is a signature tag of a christian blogger. Is there another planet I can go to. A planet that would restrict christian missionaries forever. Ok I will do my best not to bash these people :/ They all cant be bad, right? But is there a such thing as a normal christian or whatever. Being proud of your accomplishments is one thing. Being an ass is another. I need another cup of coffee.
"ITS NOT MY FAULT I AM SO HAPPY,SUCCESSFUL N RICH ,PLS ASK GOD WHY HES BLESSING ME WHILE U WALLOW IN UR 'FRUSTRATIONS'
''if you settle for less than u deserve u get even less than u settled for''(dont blame me for your misfortune) "
To Pat Robertson,
For one thing man does not need some influence of some demonic force to do the evil deeds man has done. According to your Bible we are fallen. Jesus came to give human beings a way out of their eternal damnation. His teaching was that of internal change.
Shall we ride on great steeds with red crosses painted on our shields and armor? Shall we cry out in vengeance for our God? Shall we clean our swords with the blood of our enemies and pore the remaining drops in a vat as a sacrifice for our God? Shall we curse those that see Christianity as a humanistic religion? When it was your Savior Himself who came down for all mankind. For the rich, the poor, the sick, the homeless, the wanted and the unwanted, the success, and the failure, the man, and the woman.
Who are you people? A clique? A culture? A disease?
If ever a christian comes up to me and says "You dislike me because you hate God." No I will say, "I dislike you because of you. Your God has nothing to do with the actions you commit. Actions that you have control over."
You pray, "Lord, make me what you want. Guide my steps." and you hear nothing Hes already said.
A few years ago I was sitting at a table in my college library waiting for my class to start. When I over heard two other students I didnt know began to speak about one of their friends. This friend was engaged to a woman. A woman he believed was Gods will to be engaged to. But this same person fell in love with someone else and now believed that this woman was the one God wanted him to marry. And behold a tragedy unfolds echoing the storytelling of Shakespeare.
Are you not the people who are suppose to be the salt of the earth? Where is this Light you speak of?
One christian came up to me and said, "God loves you, but humans falter.". That may be true. But I only see your God through you. I do not see Him sit in the temples or churches. To make an excuse that humans aren't perfect is unacceptable. Because this is obvious. Its the human being that strives to try to perfect their love, kindness and compassion. And work to abolish the darkness within. Whether you have help from God or whatever. It is still your responsibility to make account for your actions and change them. When Jesus came He never said your life would be without toil or darkness. He never said you would be rich. He never said you would live healthy or sick. And He never said to kill and destroy because one does not believe as you do. In fact I recall reading Him say "shake the dust off your sandals" and move on. Wheres the violence there? Where is the forceful control? Wasn't there a reason why He didn't come down to this earth as a king?
You just want to control and have everyone believe as you do so you can feel better. There isn't any altruistic value in your actions or words. You only want death and destruction. Pain and strife.
Your religion is much more than saving unborn children. Preventing gays from marrying. Having prayer in schools. Or stopping Muslims from practicing their faith whether you believe it is peaceful or not.
By the way, are your hands clean of blood?
But you will hear nothing I say. It doesnt seem you have a clue of anything but what goes on in your little mind. Wed, Feb. 22nd, 2006, 02:31 pm
HEY AMERICA!!! Are you going to wake up or what! This isnt about Team Republican kicking Team Decorates butt in the political stadium or vice versa. I say this on the issue of whom we are selling our ports to. I wouldnt even hire or hand my children over to watch to people with extensive criminal backgrounds. So why are we selling our ports to people accossiated with known affiliations who have hostilities against us? Sun, Jan. 29th, 2006, 01:03 pm
The Saddam trial has "Reality Show" written all over it LOL. Guest appearances by Flava Flav and Anna Nichole Smith. Tue, Jan. 24th, 2006, 06:54 am
1) Our Leader said yesterday that our freedom of speech is a "custom".
A) A "custom" from what I understand is something like a festival done a certain time of year. Or cloths one would wear during a ceremony.
B) Freedom of speech is a Constitutional Right not a "custom"
C) Webster's says, Custom: is a common usage or practice.
2) Wow. We really support and love our troops. We'll cut their benefits. Give them improper equipment. And we'll give them feces to drink. My family's blood is worthless. From my ancestor Hoyt in the Revolutionary War to now. We have been wounded and died in vain. Sun, Jan. 22nd, 2006, 03:01 pm
I know this is not something everyone believes in. Please do not take this as an insult.
For the New Year just celebrated and the New Years being celebrated(both Chinese and Tibetin) I wish you wealth in wisdom and love. A deepening in current friendships and the beauty of new friends. This is my prayer to the Buddhas. Fri, Jul. 1st, 2005, 10:52 pm
Im am so addicted to "Blow Out" right now. A reality show about Jonathan who is an elite stylist in Hollywood. Hes fabulous. Hes good to study from. I also would like to get a business of my own. Thu, Jun. 2nd, 2005, 03:31 am Incoherent
I open my arms and fade back into my head Hoping to fall back in your arms.

"If love was a labor I would slave till the end." Its from the group I think is called Rise Against. And the song is called "Swing your life away." Its about loving someone from youth to old age. I like that line from the song. Its how I feel. "Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love, this is unalterable law." The Buddha Yeah, Im writing about something others may feel uncomfortable about. Its not so much the fact of loving your mate, family or friends with everything you have but also loving the ones you hate, dispise and loath. Compassion does not mean naive or ignoarant. Love and compassion is a choice for the better. No, its not easy to give compassion to enemies. Believe me, Im no master at it. But I know I would prefer and desire to act differently. In a way that would better my community. I could go on but this is something that has to be thought out and learned. And I wish that for all who might read this. Until you have experienced true love (not talking just lover types) then you dont know its true power. A perfect example is in Kung Fu Hustle. Its a hillarious movie with a very deep message. I thank my mother for her compassion and kindness. Her patience has been my strength. Her wisdom and love a guide in my mistakes. Thank you Mom. Happy Mothers Day!!
Ok I like to watch tv just as much as anyone else. But when a company that makes cook out grills installs a tv in that. It just makes me wonder. (shakes head)
Ahhh its a day late. It was 2/9/05. Anyway Happy Chinese New Year!!!! Happy Losar!! to my Tibetin friends. I hope you all have a joyful, prosperous, and healthy New Year!

haha found this quote that made me laugh. I think its from Spiderman 2. I liked the movie to. Im surprised I didnt remember it. "Before we start… did anyone lose a bunch of twenties rolled up in a rubber band? Because we found the rubber band." -Dr. Otto Octaviu
Ok Dr. James Dobson is suppose to be a christian psychologist who has a radio show which tries to help people with their problems. Most of his techniques I dont agree with but this is not my point about this rant. My point is, he states that Sponge Bob Square Pants is some reference to homosexuality. I have watched that show for a few years now. Where in the HELL is that suggested. And even if it was the case what does it have to do with matters of mental health. I give up. This world is stupid. Pretty soon Shaggy and Scooby will be indicted for bestiality. Nobody seems to jump on that 70's Show for blatant references to pot smoking, premarital sex, children born out of wedlock etc. etc. etc.. Out of the the things that go bad in this world you couldnt think of anything else to make a stand on. Pathetic.

Ok, this morning I decided to watch some news on CNN. It was then I just heard the last bits of an assailant trying to force entry in a passenger plane on route. From what I understand the passengers intervened and successfully halted the assailants agenda.
The reason Im posting this is that one of the new casters reaction to this concerned me. His response to the situation was as if he just watched his favorite team get a much needed winning touch down at the end of the forth quarter.
WARNING AUTHORS OPINION: People, please.....please. This isnt a game. This isnt Spiderman vrs. the Goblin. These are real people with families and lives. This isnt a movie. Human beings suffered something traumatic and survived. Theres nothing wrong in being thankful that they are ok. Last thing I want to see is someones (who just wants to survive and see their family again) finale words used on T-shirts and baseball caps like "Lets Roll". It does not honor the dead or the living. Ahhhhhh Christmas is here and I find myself awake as I did a child. Though a child no more I still love anticipating the joy of being with my family, sharing good conversations and giving gifts. Fingers of flame snap and whisper in the fireplace as embers release their gentle warmth throughout the living room. White christmas lights illuminate leaving a soft glow as candle light quickly bows to the comings and goings of family and friends. I sincerely hope that this holiday season is most pleasant for each of you who read this. Sun, Aug. 8th, 2004, 12:26 am
There is something I have to truly admit about. The human heart. The human heart can be stronger than steel. It can defy all we think that can not be. It really can move mountains. It can lift a 4 ton car off someone. It can run through a burning building and save someones life. It can gently hold someones hand in a time of grief and suffering. Even with all our flaws, when we choose to do something truly good and wonderful I believe it can shake the universe. I thank all those who do these things. Those who go above and beyond for those they dont know and those they do. Thankyou. |
